Inauguration of committee for TAU Admission drive and linkage
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Francisca Oladipo inaugurates the committee for Thomas Adewumi University Admission drive and linkage at the 7th extraordinary senate meeting held on the 19th April. The meeting was led by the Vice-chancellor. Principal Officers, Deans, Heads of Departments, and  lecturers were in attendances. 
In her opening remarks, The Vice-Chancellor appreciates Dr J.A Ishola for his good works as far as TAU admission is concerned, she further added that the new committee will take charge from Dr Ishola henceforth and they will see to the enrolment and addition of students to our esteemed university.
The list of the newly inaugurated committee for TAU admission drive and linkage include:
    Mr. Farohunbi Samuel, Coordinator; department of Biological Sciences - Chairman
    Miss Victoria Ayorinde, Admission officer- Secretary
    Dr. Folaranmi Rotimi, Sub- Dean, FCAS - Member
    Mr. Olabode Omosola, Coordinator; department of Mathematics and Computing – Member
    Mr. Odunnaike Opeyemi, Coordinator SIWES -Member
    Mr. Ayorinde John.F., SSA to the Vice-Chancellor – Member
    Mr. Paul Stephen, Webmaster II -Member
    Mr. Alenyi John, Admin assistant/VC Driver -Member 
Duties and role of the committee shall include the following;
    Create awareness for students’ enrolment with TAU academic programmes
    Advise students and parents regarding admission opportunities in TAU
To develop partnership with relevant institutions, schools, colleges, and universities on possible students exchange for enrolment into TAU.
    Prepare reports, proposals, and responds to inquiries from students and external agencies
    To carry out other function that will boost students’ enrolment in TAU.
To analyze trends in student enrolment and retention programs, design and implement enrolment programs for target group of potential students, and develop strategies for the program evaluation. 
Mr Farounbi, the chairman appreciated the opportunity to serve and lead the committee. He promises on behalf of the committee to contribute to the enrolment of students next academic session as the university has the strength and capacity to take over its students.
Afterwards, Dr Ishola prayed for the new committee and he said “even though I am not a member anymore, I am still with them with 100% support, we (all Staff) must make TAU succeed.”
