TAU holds 7th Extraordinary Senate Meeting

The university senate held a meeting earlier today to discuss several pressing matters affecting the institution. The meeting was attended by members of the university's academic and administrative staff.
One of the key topics discussed during the meeting was the 30% Institutional contribution to CCMAS. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo extensively expressed her gratitude to the Deans and Heads of Departments for their sacrifice and effort to ensuring submission as at when due despite their voluminous workload.
In addition, the senate discussed general admissions and the approved faculty of Law programs. A decision was made to extensively market all school programs, focusing on the two newly approved law programmes.
Lastly, the senate considered several proposals related to academic policy, including strategies to adopt for late admission. Members engaged in a productive dialogue, sharing their perspectives and experiences on how best to support student learning and academic success.
Overall, the university senate meeting was a productive and informative session, with members engaging in thoughtful and constructive discussions on a range of important issues affecting the institution, some of which also includes review of results, GST unit, and Admission Drive.
