About the Faculty

Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Science houses three programmes. The faculty is fine-tuned to achieve excellence undergraduate education by preparing our students to assume roles in their respective professional practice.

Also training our students to standout in advancing the health of the public through developing and disseminating new knowledge about health, health care, and health care delivery through scholarly inquiry; Providing consultation, health care programs, and health care services in response to emerging and urgent public health needs

MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

O'Level Requirement: Five O’ Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry: At least two A’ level passes chosen from Chemistry and Physics, and any of Biology/Zoology, in addition to UTME requirements.

A degree in relevant discipline.

UTME Subject:  English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

NURSING SCIENCE

O'Level Requirement: Five O’ Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry: At least two A’ level passes chosen from Chemistry and Physics, and any of Biology/Zoology, in addition to UTME requirements.

A degree in relevant discipline.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

O'Level Requirement: Five O’ Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry: At least two A’ level passes chosen from Chemistry and Physics, and any of Biology/Zoology, in addition to UTME requirements.

A degree in relevant discipline.

Students are supposed to submit relevant documents to the faculty office during manual registration.

Admission Fee for prospective student is N2000, while acceptance fee is N25000.
